See it in action

Upload a sharp image, pick a print size, and download a print-ready file in minutes — same pixels, just bigger.

How it works

Step 1

Start sharp

Drag in your best JPG, PNG or WebP. The sharper and cleaner the source, the better the print — PrintScale sizes images up, it doesn't repair them.

Step 2

Upscale

AI detail recovery enlarges your image up to 3x — or to an exact print size you choose — tuned for large-format print.

Step 3

Print

Download print-ready TIFF, PNG and JPG and send them to your printer as-is.

What it can & can't do

PrintScale sizes up images for print — it does not repair them.Your photo should already look good before you upload it; AI recovers detail, but it can't fix a blurry or low-quality original. Knowing these limits up front means better prints and no wasted credits.

Defects get amplified

Upscaling enlarges whatever is already in the image. Blur, noise and compression get bigger and more visible — it doesn't repaint or invent a clean original.

Very low-res inputs struggle

Tiny or heavily shrunken images don't carry enough detail to reconstruct. Always start from the largest, cleanest version you have.

Faces & fine detail can shift

Small faces, eyes, hands and intricate detail may look smoothed or change slightly. Review portraits closely before printing or delivering them.

Text & logos aren't pixel-exact

Small text, logos and hard edges can be reinterpreted and won't be perfectly accurate. Don't rely on upscaling to make unreadable text legible.

JPG artifacts & grain carry over

Blocky compression and heavy grain in the source remain in the output. A lightly compressed source gives a noticeably cleaner result.

Get the best results

Feed a sharp, well-lit, low-compression image at the highest resolution you have, and run a test print on your substrate before a full run.

Pricing

Most upscales cost 1 credit; large prints use 2–3 (shown before you confirm). Buy bigger packs, pay less per credit. Credits never expire.

FAQ

What formats can I upload?

JPG, PNG and WebP, up to 20 MB. Larger images are automatically optimized for print before processing.

What do I get back?

Three print-ready files — TIFF, PNG and JPG — at full resolution, upscaled with AI detail recovery. You can enlarge up to 3x, or set an exact print size in cm at 150, 300 or 600 DPI.

How many credits does an upscale cost?

Most upscales cost 1 credit. Larger outputs cost more: up to ~42 cm = 1 credit, up to ~85 cm = 2, larger = 3. You always see the exact cost before you confirm.

Do credits expire?

No, never. Credits stay in your account until you use them. (Note: generated files are kept for 3 days — see below.)

How do I download the result?

Through direct download links — TIFF, PNG and JPG, ready to send to print, no extra conversion needed.

How long do you keep my files?

Your files (uploads, outputs and previews) are kept for 3 days after processing, then permanently deleted. Download and archive them within 3 days — PrintScale is not a backup service.

What print sizes does it work for?

Large-format printing — posters, banners, canvas and wall art — up to ~100 cm on the long side (at 300 DPI).
